AMD faces a significant challenge at CES 2025, as Nvidia continues to dominate the spotlight, capitalizing on the AI revolution. With Nvidia set to unveil its RTX 5000 series, AMD must rise to the occasion by showcasing its own next-generation GPU.
As part of a rebranding initiative, AMD’s RDNA 4 cards may be introduced under the RX 8000 or RX 9000 series names. Regardless of the final branding, AMD has a tough road ahead at this year’s event.
The press conference will commence early at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET on January 6. AMD states, “Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Computing and Graphics Group, Jack Huynh, along with other AMD executives, will be joined by partners and customers to discuss how AMD is enhancing its leadership in PCs and gaming while showcasing the wide range of the company’s high-performance computing and AI product offerings.”
